Our God Is Good All The Time! All The Time! Yes!

I came across this gem and thought to share.

A King had a male servant who, in all circumstances always said to him; My king, do not be discouraged because everything God does is perfect, no mistakes.

One day, they went hunting and a wild animal attacked the King but the servant managed to kill the animal but couldn't prevent his majesty from losing a finger. Furious and without showing gratitude, the King said, 'if God was good, I would not have been attacked and lost one finger.'

The servant replied, 'despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good and everything He does is perfect. He is never wrong'. Outraged by the response, the King ordered the arrest of his servant. While being taken to prison, he told the King again, God is Good & Perfect.

Another day, the King left alone for another hunt and was captured by savages who use human beings for sacrifice. On the altar, the savages found out that the King didn't have one finger in place, so he was released because he was considered not "complete" to be offered to the gods.

On his return to the palace, he ordered the release of his servant and said to him. 'My friend, God was really good to me. I was almost killed but for lack of a single finger, I was let go. But I have a question! If God is so good, why did He allow me to put you in prison?'

His servant replied, 'My king, if I had not been put in prison, I would have gone with you, and would have been sacrificed, because I have no missing finger!'

Everything God does is perfect. He is never wrong. Often we complain about life, and the negative things that happen to us, forgetting that everything happens for a purpose.

God knows why you are reading this message today, please bless someone with it by sharing it. God is good and perfect.

You Shall Know The Truth And The Truth Shall Set You Free

Jesus speaking to certain Jews who believed in Him, in John 8:31-32, said, ‘If you abide in My word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” (NKJV)

But what truth was Jesus talking about? I want to believe that Jesus was admonishing the Jews to not only be good disciples by following Him and reading the word, but that the word of God, the gospel of Jesus Christ (I am the Word) would transform their lives and the lives of their communities, people around them.

Many time we go about living our lives not know the full potential that God has predestined in our DNA, long before we were conceived in our mothers’ wombs! The Bible records in Jeremiah 1: 5, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations,” (NKJV). 

God already had structured your success, strength, ability, intellect, superiority etc in your DNA long before you were born. Before you arrived in your mothers womb, that is, when you were still in your fathers loins, a simple sperm, God had structured you for success! Amen.

So Jesus speaking to the Jews admonished them to know this very truth, but that this truth would be the vital instrument to help them change their mindset, become what they were meant to be and walk into the perfect destiny for which they were called to live.

Jesus My Solid Rock....

This day has just been another awesome day. I tell you walking in God's righteousness simply adds up. Talk about Divine speed!

By divine appointment today i met an impressive young Kenyan entrepreneur in the IT industry, whose great mind and ambition will probably make him the next Kenyan billionaire in a space of less than 3 years (my prediction). 

But what struck me was that this 34 year old chap, seriously ambitious, focused, driven and very humbly, who seems to be baking his cake and eating it but with one major gap in his life.... His life is simply missing God! . 

Mid our business conversation, i discover that the man attends two churches (story for another day about me), is actually involved in service ministry in one of his churches, comes from a very strong christian background (he confesses his mum diligently remembers her son in her daily 4 - 6 am family devotions), meets some of the most sought after business names in Kenya at a phone calls whim but somewhere he thinks his life still needs a supernatural being to position it!

That people can be so successful today, living their dreams, owing anything money can buy but operate without God in their personal lives is just amazing! That people can wake up, go and make a million dollars and not involve the Creator of heaven and earth in their daily undertakings remains a mystery to me!

Build On The Rock

Now Jesus spoke a parable while ministering to hungry souls about two men that built their houses on different foundations. 

Luke 6:46-49 records:

46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? 

47 Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: 

48 He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. 

49 But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

Now the mystery here is this! Isn't it funny that both men went ahead full speed with their building projects to the very end? God actually allowed the man building on earth without a foundation to actually follow through with his project!! Now that's very scary! Its called gaining speed on the wrong road! And the Master of this craft is the Devil who capitalizes on gaining every project that doesn't involve God to gain speed on a wrong road until something goes wrong somewhere along the line!

Similarities between the guy who built on a rock foundation and his earth foundation friend is that: 

1. They both built, (and i wouldn't be surprised if the sandy foundation house was more fashionable than the rock foundation house)

2. They were both very proud of their achievements

3. Both looked very prosperous (they must have been the envy of the hood about their progress)

4. Both spend great time and greater financial resources to oversee their projects to completion

5. They had both made similar investments like these elsewhere (the Bible doesn't tell us this. Just guessing!)

.... until the stream came knocking, vehemently beating against the structures! Until tempest time, (some Bible translations call it a storm) came checking in!

On what foundation is your success built on? Is it your 'own strength' foundation or a 'God protected' foundation? Someday one day, the tempest will come calling and when it does, believe you me, however majestic, grandeur or impressive that success is, if it isn't built on the Rock that is Jesus Christ, that success will surely become a cropper! Who wants to bet?

II Samuel 22:47 (NKJV): “The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, The Rock of my salvation!

Godly Newness & Excellence In Everyday Living

I wake up this day to the great realization that God in His infinite wisdom loves excellence. 

I truly believe that every human spirit that was created before the foundations of the world, was created to live in pure righteousness and holiness, in fullness, but beyond that, to deliver the Excellence of God in its entirety, in every facet of life. Even Lucifer himself was the greatest Angel that lived and served the Most High in the precincts of the Throne in Heaven before his greed overtook him and a great fall followed!

A confident Godhead heavenly boardroom meeting, on that day the Deity was conversing to create man and his spirit, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness,' speaks volumes about how God perceives man. Preceding this heavenly meeting, that God had confidently gone ahead with mighty precision of speaking forth His Word, and the Spirit of God, Who had been hovering over the waters, taking the form and shape of whatever God had called into existence, became that which God had spoken!

But different from this creation of all else, for the making of man, God consulted an 'Us' board meeting to 'get' the Godhead approval to make a unique, magnificent, pure you that would be completely different from the rest of the magnificence that He had called to existence by His Word just a while back (Light, Day, Night, Heaven, Earth, Stars etc). 

Genesis 1:26 (NKJV): Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

You are wonderfully and fearfully created by a good and great God, who had the original idea of making/creating you with all the capacity and capability to operate as a mini god on the face of the earth. Had it not been for sin that crept into the world, purity, holiness, righteousness, godliness et al would have been functioning at full capacity as God had originally intended. 

That sin crept in and abound on the face of the earth didnt stop God from literally pursuing his original dream to give us an opportunity to commune with Him in Spirit and in Truth! God still looked for an opportunity to reconnect with sinful, witty and rebellious you that this Holy connection and intention might be restored!

But the devil, who roams around like a roaring lion looking whom to devour, continually lies, connives, distracts us, using all demonic ingenious to ensnare us into missing the mark of reconnecting our spirits with God's Spirit. God is Spirit, and all who worship Him shall worship Him in Spirit and Truth, says the Word of the Lord. It is not your body, soul, mind or being that accepts Jesus Christ as Savior BUT your spirit itself! For it not by power or by might BUT by my Spirit says the Lord, through faith, that this spiritual process happens, the more reason that we should trust God by faith that He is able save and deliver us to Himself to the uttermost and for real!

You were created for a purpose! Your destiny was predestined before the foundations of the world. You need to find that destiny road map, by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior today, reconnect to the Almighty God and begin to let God re position you into that magnificent path and you that He originally intended. 

I Thessalonians 4:7 (NKJV): For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.

I Corinthians 1:18 (NKJV): For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Hearken to the voice of God this day and by faith ask Him to give you a brand new life, a life of righteousness, godliness, purity, devoid of men being lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power, the pure dictates and parameters that this world offers and more! 2 Tim 3: 2-5

I John 3:6 (NKJV): Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but Christ has come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

John 5:24 (NKJV): “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life."

Why don't you choose Life today and secure an everlasting inheritance for yourself for tomorrow BUT most importantly live a fulfilling Christ filled life today wherever you are.

Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV): For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Choose Life again i admonish you. It doesn't matter what you have done prior to this alter call! Jesus is waiting right now to receive you with open arms and make you righteous and whole again. Choose Life i beg you!

If the Spirit of God is leading you to make this decision, obviously the greatest decision you will ever make in your entire life, please pray this simple prayer of faith in your heart and Jesus enter your heart and begin to make you a new creation,

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that i am a sinner. I ask you to forgive my transgression and come into my heart as Lord and Savior. By faith i accept you as my Lord and Savior and this day henceforth, i purpose to walk with you in righteousness and godliness for the rest of my days. I thank you for coming into my heart. Amen

I thank God for you who have said this simple but life changing prayer. Please find a Church which believes in the principles of sound Christian doctrine and get plugged into the body of Christ near you. 

By faith, I trust the Spirit of the Living God will Himself direct you as you begin this new, great and exciting walk with God. 

Blessed be the Name of my God and my Lord Jesus, who by being nailed on Calvary, His blood shed for my sin, Has called you to Himself and redeemed you today! Be thoroughly blessed as you grow in Him in Jesus Name. Amen

New Day and Free Indeed

This is indeed the day that the Lord has made and i will surely rejoice and be glad in it! 

I thank the Lord my God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, who has yet again, granted me the opportunity to express myself in only a way that i know how; in written prose! While i was yet a sinner, the Bible says, 'Christ died for me,' and yes today, after accepting Jesus as Lord and Personal Savior, almost three months back, i am brand new, by faith!

This blog and podium, replaces my previous blog that served me well then and therefore, will be my humble appreciation to my Lord for the great things that He has and continues to do for me. Secondly, this will be my opportunity to share my walk with God as real as i can present it as the Word of God admonishes us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. 

What you read will be my personal opinion but i hope that the Spirit of God will speak to you through my experiences, edify and strengthen you, and ultimately direct you to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. As it is not by power or by might that i do this, i truly believe that the Spirit of God will guide me into sharing truths and challenges that will reflect Jesus in my life!

So join the physical world seen through the spiritual eyes of this Kenyan gentile and be be blessed as we both enjoy the great saving grace of our Almighty Sovereign God and His awesome Son and Savior Jesus!
